Default The searing started in what season?

I have been reading some of the lore behind the game. I see what year the Charr Invasion started, but does anyone know what season?

I'm not all that familiar with the lore, so I can't really answer based on that.

But in Pre-Searing, leaves are orange & yellow and are falling off the trees - my guess is Autumn.

I would say the season of Zephyr or Collossus (Mouvelian Year). If you mean to us it would probably be around Autumn.

I wonder if that's a good thing or a bad thing. On one hand, the produce would have been harvested, so supplies would be available for war. But then, it would mean having homeless refugees facing winter, too.

The refugees were headed through the Shiverpeaks anyway so they'll be cold anyhow...

No one says that Tyria HAS seasons....since its always summer like in some places and snowing in others....could be that the planet they are on maintains a regular orbit around its sun and thus doesnt have seasonal changes that we get here on earth.

It never turns nighttime either, and hey where is the sun? It is just a game world after all....

This is where I found the seasons. Just wasn't sure what season the Charr invasion started.
